Ridgeback Farm

We aim to develop closed loop agriculture ecosystem thriving on a interlaced mycelial network

About

As our love affair with mushrooms grew, we realized that we didn’t have the access that we wanted to gourmet and medicinal mushrooms locally. We decided that we not only wanted to grow mushrooms but we wanted to grow supremely delicious log inoculated mushrooms. As our plans developed, we became committed to finding natural solutions to every challenge that presented itself. We strive to find ways that we can have as little of a carbon footprint as possible, keeping our sights set on a holistic view that honors and cherishes all seasons and cycles. We are deeply humbled by the innate knowingness and potent medicine that fungi and mycelial networks carry and think of ourselves as caretakers and not curators. Our main offering is an opportunity for you to connect to the land and the fungi we care for while receiving their healing benefits. You will be able to buy our mushrooms and other goods at farmers markets, farm to table restaurants, small health food stores, local CSA programs and on our farm. Our hope is that we can make this world a better place through sharing the healing powers of fungi.
